Year of Extraordinary Exploits”

In line to close the 1st session of the 5th Diocesan synod which was being held from the 1st -25th of April 2021 , the host parish – St. John’s Anglican Parish Ngousso today Sunday April 25th held an ecumenical service to officially commemorate the end of this synod session.

With theme “Year of Extraordinary Exploits”, with verse from Isaiah 29:14 and in accordance with the mission statement , the Rt. Revd. Dibo Thomas Babynton Elango ( Diocesan Bishop) beckoned on parishioners to be competent , effective and productive in their service to God.

For as servants in God’s vineyard , we need to base our works on the word of God , gaining training where necessary while returning all glory to God for all achievements.

A thanksgiving was done by the delegates of the synod and an award was also handed to the Bishop by the parish vicar – Rev. Fr Denis Samba to congratulate him on the success of the just ended synod session.

The event was graced by the Royal Highness of the Ngousso neighborhood, mother superior of the Anglican Church , members of the PCC and amongst others .
