THEME : “Christ the foundation of every solution… For without me you can do nothing” (John 15: 5b).
Each year, the CPCC convenes its General Assembly in one of the towns nationwide and this assembly is hosted by a member church. The General Assembly serves as an opportunity to take a look at the stakes and challenges of our society, but most importantly, a look at our evangelical witness. It is also an opportunity to assess and learn good practice besides building capacity.
Although the Assembly could not hold last year, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the challenges remain gigantic to continue operating in full respect of barrier measures remains gigantic.
The CPCC has just set up a new three-year programme that calls for appropriation by member churches and work departments The stakes of accountability are enormous in order to build our credibility. Beyond appropriation, the meetings will be held in thematic workshops. The fields of intervention will mainly cover our working departments: Education, Health, Youth, Women and Social Affairs, Peace and Development, Communication, etc.
