Led by the Bible verse in Deuteronomy 1:13, the Vice President of CEPCA, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, the Right Reverend Fonki Samuel Forba called on Protestants to choose the best from among their leaders.

The 2018 election support project will be carried out in five regions; Center, East, North, South and South West regions.

The project targets all Cameroonians of voting age, especially women and young people.

The activities planned under the project include:

  1. Training journalists in fair reporting
  2. Mobilization of around 700 election observers to ensure impartial verification of election results.

CPCC, through this project, hopes to contribute to conflict-free elections.

Representatives of Elections Cameroon (ELECAM) and political parties were present at the launch.

The Council of Protestant Churches of Cameroon (CEPCA / CPCC) is an association of eleven Protestant churches in Cameroon.
